Nina Paley is best known for her animated feature films Sita Sings the Blues and Seder-Masochism. Back in the day she was a comic book artist, producing a couple one-offs with Dark Horse, and daily strips with King Features and United Feature Syndicate, as well as her self-syndicated weekly Nina’s Adventures. In 2017 she got canceled for saying women don’t have penises, and has been persona non grata in the animation and comics worlds ever since. She currently co-hosts the Heterodorx podcast with Corinna Cohn, and continues to create a variety of independent art projects, including MysticSymbolic (2020), Apocalypse Animated (2021-22), Agents of H.A.G., and GENDER WARS.
